Eleanor Davis…

Eleanor Davis is an illustrator and comic book artist living and working in Athens, Georgia. Her style is very unique and lends itself to some pretty odd ideas. Having said that, there is something beautiful about the colour and composition of her images; they maybe strange but they are very attractive.

i love dust…

I love dust. Their vibrant eye candy and sense of humour is hard to ignore out there in the graphic wilderness; so I thought I might celebrate their series of quirky productions with a little link to their homepage for you to check out. Love those bikes.

only the brave…

A tiny little upload on Behance Network caught my attention today. Made for Diesel, The Keystone Design Union produced a small series illustrations on the theme ‘brave’. I haven’t any interest in the brand whatsoever, but the handmade, organic imagery in this series was really nice I thought.

comment: can you animate these please?…

I can’t tell you much about Los Angeles based illustrator Julian Callos…. except that I do agree with the comments left at the bottom of his BOOOOOOM page: His fluid stlye would look superb animated! Check out his blog for work in progress too.

it all begins with a biro…

I don’t pretend to be a fashionista, because I don’t wear anything besides t-shirts and a pair of pants on the weekends. But there is something really attractive about Carine Brancowitz‘s mostly biro fashion inspired illustrations, and I really like them.  You can almost smell that sticky ink. Looks like Carine has a soft spot for both cars AND phoenix too. Very nice.
